Darrell Bush ~ Senior, Woodbury
 

Darrell had a busy day at the the Group I Sectional meet. Winning the 400m in 50.46, he followed that up with a 2nd place finish tie to his teammate in the 55m, and then led his relay to a 2nd place finish. He is the South Jersey leader in both the 55m(6.53 #3 State) and 400m(49.81 #4 State).

Honorable Mention -
Zach Winters(Shawnee) -14' jump at the Varsity Classic moved him to #3 in the State. Also won Gr III Sectionals

Alexis Kennedy ~ Millville
 

In a week full of track results, there were certainly many outstanding marks set by South Jersey Athletes. Alexis Showed her dominance at the South Jersey Group IV Sectional meet by winning the shot put by over 4', with a toss of 39' 3"(her 3rd best throw ever). Her mark of 40' 11" thrown earlier this season at the Hispanic Games is #3 in the state. She heads into the state Group IV Meet this coming Saturday with the top seed.

Honorable Mention -
Megan Lacy(Cherokee) - Added two sectional titles to her resume in the 1600m and 3200m.
Katie Johnston(Haddonfield) - An impressive double win in the Pole Vault and Shot Put in the Group I Sectional meet.
Stey'ce McNeil(Winslow) - 4 golds on Friday. 400m(out of the unseeded heat), 55m, 55m Hurdles, and anchoring the 4x4. If that weren't enough anchored Winslow at the Millrose Games the next day splitting 55.8.
